Sporps?

It's been quite a while since I posted here. A lot has happened since.

Here's a little rundown:

• Have been in the Independent several times
• Made my debut in the Times with a Quick Cryptic last month
• Have been setting minis for the Telegraph
• Have another debut in another major UK newspaper later this month
• Joined the editorial team (and set a puzzle in Issue 1) of Unch , a new cryptic crossword magazine, published quarterly (https://unchcrosswords.com)
• Had my final puzzle in the Browser, which sadly ended at the end of 2025
• Had some American style crosswords published in a few different outlets (Apple News+, USA Today, and Crossword Flow)

But you probably came here for a new crossword. 

I decided to join a fantasy football league with some friends, even though I know nothing about American football. I chose all of my players based on if their names could be clued as regular words. This grid contains 11 of my players plus my main defence team.
